Synopsis:
Young Jimmy Tuttle builds a model ship for the Daily Planet model contest, but his rival's older brother Joe Reefer destroys it. Superman offers to help Jimmy build a new model of a Spanish galleon. He raises a sunken ship from the ocean floor complete with treasure. He then disassembles and reassembles the ship as a guide for Jimmy.

Joe's brother Hugo sees Superman helping Jimmy and tells his brother about the treasure. Joe and his gangster friends then destroy Jimmy's new ship and attempt to steal the treasure. Superman stops them and ensures that Jimmy's model is intact for the contest. Superman then gives the treasure to the government, while Jimmy wins the contest.
