Synopsis:
When Adam arrives on Rann, he is informed that Alanna has been killed by an alien. Adam tracks the alien killer to a valley on Rann, where he is already being pursued by a hunting party. Adam attacks the alien, but is puzzled when the man doesn't kill an attacking creature. Adam calls off the hunting party and allows the alien to explain. He tells Adam that he put Alanna into suspended animation because she was exposed to deadly microbes aboard his ship. The alien gives Alanna the antidote and revives her from suspended animation.
