Synopsis:
Johnny Cloud is troubled by a prophecy from his youth which indicates that he will be attacked by a hawk while blind. On several occasions Johnny senses the prophecy is coming true, but each time he escapes injury.
A volunteer is required for a new suicide mission to destroy an enemy target. Johnny volunteers, but his wingman Tex is awarded the assignment. Johnny slugs Tex and takes over the mission. He destroys the enemy target, but he is blinded in the process. An enemy plane attacks him and since he cannot see Johnny is forced to bail out of his plane. The enemy pilot continues to fire at Johnny, but a blind shot from his pistol takes down the enemy plane. Johnny lands and is found by Mademoiselle Marie's resistance fighters.
