Synopsis:
A library book is recovered from a bomb site which destroyed a house in Gotham City. Commissioner Gordon asks his daughter to identify the book's borrower. As Batgirl, Barbara tracks down Shelley Simms, a girl who is part of a peaceful protest group. Shelley won't speak to Batgirl, but she is followed to her boyfriend Mal. Although their group is supposedly peaceful, Mal admits to setting the bomb. His men then attack Batgirl. He then traps her in a mined room and leaves with Shelley to plant another bomb.
