Synopsis:
Adam Strange returns to Rann in time to pursue an escaped criminal. The crook, Zaarb-Ka, has the ability to control animals. When a Hydra-Head creature accidentally arrives on Rann via Zeta-Beam, Zaarb-Ka uses the beast against Adam Strange. Just when the beast has Adam at its mercy, the Zeta-Beam wears off, returning the Hydra-Head to its homeworld. Adam and Alanna then recapture Zaarb-Ka.
