Synopsis:
Lois and Clark travel north to the Big Spooky Mountains to confirm a scientist's theory about radium deposits. They soon meet John Borealis, aka the Duke, a former prospector who struck it rich years ago. Now the Duke is gifting gold nuggets to other prospectors in the area to encourage them. Outlaw Wolf Wendell tries to steal the gold on multiple occasions, but he is thwarted by the intervention of Superman. After Wendell is defeated, Borealis reveals that his fortune was inherited. He never struck it rich as a prospector. However, Superman informs him that his land contains valuable radium deposits worth a fortune.
