Synopsis:
Eager to show off a new invention at a science convention, Professor West travels to Central City. His absent-minded nature causes him to forget where he is going, and he ends up in the hands of foreign spies.

West demonstrates the invention which enlarges vegetables. Moments later Flash arrives, having been on the lookout for the missing Professor. Unfortunately, Flash is knocked out when the giant vegetables turn out to be explosive.

The spies escape with Professor West as a prisoner. When Flash recovers he follows them, reaching them before they can return to their own country. Professor West provides a distraction by enlarging more vegetables. Flash then rounds up the spies and returns West to his convention. Unfortunately, the absent-minded professor has forgotten how to use his new device.
