This story, which takes place on February 26, 1950, is continued from Blackhawk #11.
Synopsis:
The Blackhawks tap into their subconscious memories which were co-mingled with Hardesty and Claiborne while they were in suspended animation. Using these memories they plan an assault on Pontabla, newly dubbed Blackhawk Island. Kristin Graustark and her associate Roger Stanfield stage an ambush to attack the team before they depart. However the ambush is unsuccessful.
The team lands on Blackhawk Island and fight their way through CIA troops sent to defend the island. They also encounter the Blackhawk imposters. Using the password Zenda, they are able to uncover the imposters from the real Blackhawks. When the battle is nearly over, Graustark tries to kill Blackhawk, but Stanfield shoots her instead. He announces that he is the team's new CIA handler.
