Synopsis:
Miss Argyle, Burman, and Steve Claiborne are each called before a committee to explain recent events involving the Blackhawks. Miss Argyle explains that she was the secretary working for Dr. Grundfest who planned and executed operations to kidnap the Blackhawks with the intention of stealing their identities and creating his own team who were more obedient. His first subject is Natalie Reed. He takes the face of the deceased Constance Darabont and grafts it onto Reed along with a psychological component.
Burman testifies that he was working for Grundfest at the secret CIA airbase where Andre was working as a test pilot. He switched sides and witnessed the Blackhawks trying to rescue Andre. They survived a plane explosion but were drugged by Grundfest. Hardesty and Claiborne were also captured.
Claiborne explains that the drug didn't knock out Blackhawk completely. He and Andre were able to escape. They broke Hardesty and Claiborne out and went to the facility known as the Circus where Grundfest was holding the others. Hardesty was killed in the ensuing fight. Grundfest was shot by Blackhawk, who was drugged again. Andre was captured by a brainwashed Natalie Reed.
Following their testimony, the committee orders all three witnesses shot. They are part of the conspiracy that now has all the Blackhawks in cold storage.
