Part II:"The Chestnut Mare Ain't What She Used to Be"

Synopsis:
Lois Lane covers a rocket launch in Satellite City. Her life is saved by Comet the Superhorse, who is soon transformed into a human by a passing comet. He assumes the identity of Bill Biron, a stage magician. Lois and Bill soon fall for one another, so Bill tells Lois the truth about his past.

Comet attempts to contact Circe in the past to help him remain human. Instead, his old foe Maldor hears the plea and travels into the future to cause trouble. Maldor transforms Lois into a superhorse, who the rescues Comet.

Superman soon returns to Earth and finds the two superhorses. After they rescue him from Kryptonite, Superman contacts Circe and finds a cure for Lois. She is restored to human form, but Comet still remains in his cursed form as a horse.
