Synopsis:
Swamp Thing's journey through time continues. He encounters a tribe of neanderthals. These people treat him with respect. However, their shaman believes their time is coming to an end. A tribe of early men is coming to wipe them out. Swamp Thing is less powerful than usual and is unable to stop the genocide which wipes out the neanderthals. When the shaman dies, a stone of amber is removed from the pouch he carries. The amber once again sends Swamp Thing on his way.
Meanwhile, Constantine meets with Abby and learns that Swamp Thing is somewhere in the past. He decides to seek out the amber and claw in an attempt to bring Alec home.
