Synopsis:
Having failed to secure the ornate incense burner from the Cult of the Blood Red Moon, the Spectre and Jim Corrigan seek another way to aid Madame Xanadu and Kim Liang. The danger began when a stranger working for the cult tainted Xanadu's tarot deck. The Spectre decides to enter the deck to repair the damage. Corrigan joins with him in spirit form.
The Spectre fights his way through perils inside the deck. His final opponent is the "death" card. Corrigan's human weakness prevents the Spectre from prevailing. He casts out Corrigan and renews the battle alone. Corrigan is sent in spirit form to the lair of the Cult of the Blood Red Moon. He is able to retake the censer and escape while the Spectre finishes his battle in the deck.
When both Corrigan and the Spectre return to Xanadu's parlor they are able to release their friends from captivity.
