Chapter Two:"But What is Reality Anyway?"

The Legion appears only briefly in this story.

Synopsis:
While vacationing on Kathoon, the homeworld of Night Girl, Cosmic Boy and Lydda stumble upon a station run by the Dominators that is drawing enormous amounts of power. Cosmic Boy summons the Legion for help. However, the Legion is busy on Weber's World where a peace agreement with the Dominators is being negotiated.

Bouncing Boy and several students from the Legion Academy have been left on Earth to handle emergencies. Chuck takes Comet Queen and Myg, the new Karate Kid, to Kathoon to answer Rokk's summons. Despite their relative lack of power the five heroes attack the Dominators who are planning to use the station to blow up Weber's World.

Cosmic Boy leads the other four heroes into a side dimension which links Kathoon with the Dominator homeworld. He then carries the assault to the Dominators. Despite their defeat, the Dominators believe they will achieve victory, because the station on Kathoon is still active. However, Duo Damsel has led another batch of Academy students to secure that location and prevent the Dominators from firing their weapon.

When Cosmic Boy and the others return to Earth, he officially reforms the Legion of Substitute Heroes with Bouncing Boy, Duo Damsel, Night Girl, Comet Queen, and Karate Kid as members.
