Synopsis:
Following the loss of his wife, Hawkman goes on a rampage. In the midst of a hurricane, Hawkman rescues many people, but his fury leads him to be reckless. When he is nearly killed in an explosion, Hawkman realizes that he is nearly suicidal. He feels that something was holding him back.

Hawkman returns to the sunken alien ship he recently discovered. Using the technology on board he is able to open a portal to the spirit realm. Hawkwoman, Lorraine Frazier, and the Gentleman Ghost are released. The Ghost is now human again in the form of Jim Craddock. However, a mystical vortex now threatens Earth. Lorraine must sacrifice herself to the spirit world along with another to close it. Craddock freely joins her and the vortex closes. Hawkman and Hawkwoman are then reunited.
