History:
Phil Hunter and his identical twin brother Nick are the sons of Colonel Ben Hunter, the leader of the World War II unit known as the Hellcats. Both brothers joined the service as adults. Nick became a pilot, while Phil joined the Green Berets. Nick saved Phil's life three times; once when they both served in Korea.

During the Vietnam War Nick's plane was shot down over Viet Cong territory and Nick was reported to be missing in action. Phil's time for reenlistment was coming up, but he decided to leave the military and search for his missing twin. After various adventures, Phil Hunter found his brother being held prisoner in a village under Viet Cong control. The Viet Cong took Phil prisoner, but he escaped and freed Nick and two other pilots being held captive there. All four men reached an American base, where the two brothers were reunited with their father.
