History:
A lowly clerk to the local District Attorney, Larry Jordan wanted to help fight against crime during World War II. Thus he built a special helmet and belt to help him in his private battle and took the name Air Wave.

As time went on, Jordan continually refined his equipment, changing and improving his abilities. He also rose through the ranks to finally become District Attorney. Sometime after World War II, Jordan traveled from Earth-2 to Earth-1 under as yet unexplained circumstances. Jordan married Helen, and raised a son, Hal.

Years later, criminals attempted to gain revenge against the crusading DA and Jordan lost his life in the battle. His wife, Helen, donned the Air Wave outfit, solved the case, then put the costume away forever.

Recently, his son, Hal, was sent to live with cousins Jack and Jan Jordan, and has adopted his father’s costume and equipment.

Powers:
Jordan designed a special belt coupled with special antennae that used radio waves. At first, he could simply tap into any radio wave, listening to conversations from phone lines or broadcast stations. In time, he added a microphone to project his voice throught the radio waves.

After a time, Jordan added other abilities, such as riding along telephone lines at the speed of electricity, using collapsible skates built into his boots, climbing walls with magnetic soles, and even making telephone calls. He could also generate energy, creating magnetic attraction over short distances.
