History:
The man who calls himself Baron Bedlam was born Frederick DeLamb, and is the son of a regent installed upon the Markovian throne by the Nazis during World War II. While his father carried out the Nazis' will, DeLamb exploited his position, taking whatever he wanted.

At the end of the war King Viktor Markov was restored to the Markovian throne, aided by Allied forces. DeLamb, fearing reprisals from the Markovian people, left the country to amass a fortune in an as-yet-undisclosed manner. When he deemed the political climate was proper, he attempted a coup that would restore himself to the Markovian throne, taking the nom de guerre Baron Bedlam, Bedlam being an anagram of his true last name. His efforts were thwarted by Brion Markov, youngest heir to the Markovian throne, who had been given super-powers due to the efforts of Dr. Helga Jace, a loyal Markovian scientist. At this time Markov was aided by several other super-heores who later joined forces as the Outsiders.

Prince Gregor Markov ascended to the Markovian throne after Bedlam's rebellion was crushed, King Viktor having died repelling Bedlam's troops. Baron Bedlam was last seen in the hands of the angry Markovian people and is presumed to be either dead or in prison.

Powers:
Though granted temporary super-powers by the same process which created Geo-Force and his sister, Terra, Bedlam is currently a normal human being, with no special abilities beyond a shrewd, ruthless tactical mind and vast financial resources. Bedlam possesses only normal athletic skills, but is a superior hand-to-hand combatant.
