History:
Seemingly the living embodiment of the "Captain Computron" computer toy manufactured by the Wiggins Toy Corporation, Colonel Computron simply appeared upon the scene one day, seeking vengeance against Willard W. Wiggins, president of the company, for some unspecified reason.

During the first attempt Computron projected the Flash into a deadly oversized video game, reducing the Scarlet Speedster to an electronic image in an effort to kill him. When the Flash freed himself, Computron fled, eluding the speedster's efforts to apprehend the Colonel.

Several months later, Computron returned, once again intending to slay W.W. Wiggins, but this time the Colonel's efforts were thwarted by both the Flash and the speedster's frequent foe, Captain Boomerang, who felt he owed Wiggins a debt of honor for having first provided Boomerang with his special costume and weaponry. Though Boomerang frequently switched sides during this encounter, siding with the Flash or Computron as circumstances best served him, Boomerang ultimately helped save Wiggins, though Colonel Computron once more escaped unharmed.

Though it has been speculated that Colonel Computron is in fact either Basil Nurbin, the actual inventor of the Captain Computron toy; his wife, Francine, an electronic wizard in her own right, or their genius daughter, Luna, at this writing the true identity of Colonel Computron remains unknown.

Powers:
Colonel Computron's costume is actually a portable computer system capable of determining to the nth degree the amount of effort needed to accomplish any physical act as well as a powerful exoskeleton easily able to exert that force. To date, Colonel Computron has demonstrated super-strength, the capacity for superswift reasoning, and the ability to construct sophisticated automatons, called Blips, that are capable of confounding even the Flash himself.

Since the true identity of Colonel Computron remains secret, it is unknown what sort of athlete or hand-to-hand combatant the Colonel might be beneath that armor.
