Synopsis:
Adam returns to Rann and is immediately attacked by its citizens including Alanna. He learns that they are under the control of the Emotionizer, a machine created by the alien Lo Pau. The alien uses the device on Adam as well in order to complete his plan of moving Rann half-a-million light years away.

Lo Pau succeeds in exchanging Rann with his own world, Lorane. He has done this to avoid a platinum space-bird which has menaced his world giving off radiation which kills his people. Adam finds a posion that should kill the bird and succeeds in ridding both worlds of the deadly menace. Lo Pau is grateful and returns Rann to its rightful position in space.
