Synopsis:
After Vulture steals a valuable statue from the collection of Miklos Agar. They contact Marco Xavier to sell the statue back to him. Xavier is brought to a mobile Vulture headquarters, so he concocts a scheme to reach Mr. V. J'onn raids the headquarters, apprehending the Vulture henchmen. Then he leaves and returns as Xavier, releasing the crooks.

Once free, the crooks head straight for Mr. V. J'onn follows them to another hideout and finds Mr. V. The Vulture leader utilizes a lightning gun which starts a fire, weakening J'onn. The Martian Manhunter puts out the fire, the captures his opponent. However, when he unmasks Mr. V, he discovers the man is only a Vulture lieutenant named Zoltar, not the real Mr. V.
