Comments:
Following this story Rip Hunter remains trapped in the stone age.
This story is continued from Time Masters #7.
Synopsis:
Rip Hunter has gone back in time to the stone age to stop Vandal Savage. He kills the man he thinks is Savage, only to discover that the man is Savage's father. He comes to the realization, that his efforts are pointless. He then witnesses the comet crash on Earth which makes Savage immortal. Rip remains trapped in the past.
Meanwhile, Bonnie takes a time sphere into the post-apocalyptic future. She meets members of the illuminati who are the keepers of knowledge. She sets up a program to teach survivors which will hopefully lead to the betterment of mankind.
Jeff and Cave return from Arion's time to the present where they reconcile their differences and continue time travel research.
