During "Get Acquainted Day" at Midvale Orphanage, couples looking to adopt children are invited to meet the orphans. Linda Lee, secretly Supergirl, tries to avoid getting adopted.
Linda tries to get another orphan Timmy adopted by a couple. The couple is too poor to make the adoption so Supergirl creates an attraction on their farm so they can afford to adopt Timmy.
However, the couple decides to move to the city and believes Timmy would prefer to live on a farm. Linda helps Timmy perform a magic act to show the Wilson’s that he has other interests. With the help of her powers, the act is successful, and Timmy gets adopted.
